RU Tennis Beats Wisconsin

That was a great win for a team without a lot of B10 talent - very nice job by the ladies and the (relatively) new coach. Go RU! If we can get an upgrade in the facilities that would make a huge difference. As I've mentioned before my daughter was a recruited tennis player (including by RU) and in that milieu generally the quality of facilities is important.

Nebraska tennis has never been good but a donor gave $20mil(most think it was Andy Roddick who is from Nebraska and a fan) and built a whole new indoor/outdoor setup as well as training and locker room facilities for them. The program has sense been on a very nice upswing. The sooner you can get something built it will give you an instant boost. Having a dedicated indoor facility is key for college tennis for Northern teams. The kids play year round and it is a must to let them do it on campus instead of having to go to a tennis center somewhere.
