Not a fan of the Barn. B1G should've moved the WBB game so this match was at the RAC. You can't wrestle an elite team like this at the Barn.

I am sure they are losing some revenue by having this in the Barn and ideally this is a RAC match but it could create a pretty hostile environment and maybe it will spur the team on to a big effort.

It looks like RU, Iowa, and Maryland are the only Big 10 schools that don't have a dedicated wrestling arena where you don't share it with hoops. Iowa sells out Carver-Hawkeye(15,000) quite a bit, so I see why they would want to use it.

I'm sure it hurts your revenue for the wrestling program but good luck getting the Big 10 to do much.

Match was originally scheduled for 4 PM which on Super Bowl Sunday. RU figures a sold out Barn at Noon was better than an empty RAC at 4

Maryland has a dedicated wrestling arena. It just happens to be in the same building as the basketball facility, similar setup to what Minnesota has.

Iowa and Northwestern are the only two teams that do not have a dedicated wrestling arena. (Rutgers' regular wrestling facility is actually College Avenue Gym, they just use the RAC for larger duals, such as when they hosted the National Duals regional three years ago)

Don't be dense. The B1G & BTN screwed up in scheduling & are the ones that should've moved it months ago & it both would've been on TV.
