22-18 RU end of 1st. TOOOO many whistles let them play a little. No real good flow to game. Harris was doing well but got the two quick fouls, and taken out.
Houston is gonna be gonna gassed quickly trying to keep up with us and are constant substitutions. Gotta get Stasha more involved in the offensive flow since Tyler now has 2 fouls as well. 30-21
43-25 half, oh my....Jenkins looks like "a wide receiver going in"...says Brogno. He, and side kick say they really enjoy calling our games cause we are so fun to watch.

Harris had an outstanding game, very quitely, and without all the self praise(yes that's a knock on Tyler).
Glad to see Tyler's march toward 2000 continue + am certainly willing to cut her some slack after what she went through last year. I'm in AZ and can't see any of the games so I can't comment about specifics but her resurrection seems nothing short of divine intervention to me!
JMO don't get all crazy. I just think sometimes she gets a bit too carried away with herself, not knocking her overall talent. Others like Carey, and Williams just go about their business while they work their arses off.
JMO but I’m not sure that we are watching the same player. I see excitement and love of the game.
Btw I loved a play late in tonight’s game where Tyler passed off to a teammate rather than padding her stats with an easy uncontested layup.
I did not see the game, but seemed like a fairly easy win where everybody was involved, particularly the posts.

HUGE advantage rebounding: 53-32; Harris, Jenkins, Carey all dominating on the glass.
Speaking of Harris, Jenkins, Carey--I've been impressed with their play all year (particularly Harris, who I think has undercover been excellent). Really nice to see them all contribute in the points column a well.
22 assits on 32 baskets is very nice.
And the lowlights:
18 turnovers is far too many, and what's concerning is that 7 of them are from PG Cryor. Not having seen the game not sure what type of turnovers they were, but she needs to lock that down for conference play.
9/20 FT shooting--yuck. KK Sanders went 4-8, and she's usually an excellent FT shooter, so maybe it was just an off night, but hopefully CVS game the team FT shooting assignments for the break!

CC (Cryor) is a classic CVS point guard, but with a killer 3-PT shot. She plays fast but is still young and sometimes makes bad decisions/passes. I believe that these are mostly mental errors, and that she’ll improve with more experience.
Next up Big 10 opponent Purdue on Dec 28. Need to keep the Viv train rolling in the Big 10.

Tyler Scaife had a wide-open layup on a fast break but stopped and handed the ball to CC and let her make the basket. C had a huge smile on her face running back down the court. I’ve watched a lot of basketball but I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that. This team is special
I just think Tyler is so happy to be back, feeling good and able to play at the highest level. Most of the country forgot about her and just how talented she is. If she wants to play with a little attitude, I say she deserves to have fun after what she has been through!
