On the bright side ... Wrestling won ... Gymnastics won ... Lacrosse teams won ... so not a bad weekend even with the BB teams not winning ... only bad loss was softball against Mercer, but softball rebounded afterwards ... better than average weekend
Had a feeling you would chime in here. The men's team can do no wrong, but a bad game or two by the women, and you come in to pile on.
Unwatchable basketball seen in previous seasons and now for the last two games.Something is going on with the team and Stringer has no answers .Rutgers won't be ranked next week.Maryland leads 53 -34 end of third quarter.
34 points in 30 minutes does not cut it, this offense is just as bad as all other incarnations of CVS teams

and glancing at the schedule..alot of landmines ahead, the only game where you can count on a win is Wisconsin, the rest RU will be underdog or tossup games including both vs OSU who has had RU's number ever since they joined the conference

Should be easier to get out of the parking lot after the game now. No defense today at all
I claimed when her loss was mentioned ( right after suspension) the team wouldn't be hurt mentaly and it was her production would be what was going to be missed.
But after the Minnesota game and this mess, I might have been wrong about the team not being affected mentally.
Something is wrong and not just because of losing Jenkins play when she's in the rotation
Diane, that's what good teams do. Right now we're not a good team and this started with the Indiana game, even though we beat the Hoosiers.

To come out so lackluster and so flat after a week off is inexcusable. I really think Jenkins suspension is having a deleterious effect on this team.
Have never ripped on mens hoops. I don't rip on any RU sports. You, on the other hand, seem to get your jollies ripping on C Viv's teams and RU football.
And to make matters worse, our D held Maryland to a season low 62 points. But because we were so awful on the offensive side, we just did not come ready to play, which is shocking, because there was no excuse for this kind of performance after a week off.
MD pressed in 1st Qtr and came out firing. RU seemed off and never got rolling or in a rhythm.

bac, you do seem to be on the negative side when it comes to RUWBB .
But I have to admit you do give the team credit when you feel it deserves credit.
As for WBB , I tend to be positive and rarely post negatively.
RUMBB the same and even defended Jordan ( for his fist 2 years), which was a mistake.
Made the same with Fred Hill Jr , defending him when should have seen he wasn't a good HC.
On the RU FB side was a Flood defender until halfway through his 3rd year and then wanted him gone .
As for Ash , gave him slack his first year, from 2nd on not a supporter but it was last year that made me think he needs to be replaced.
So all in all we see coaches in different ways and being supporter of one shouldn't be something to be insulted about.
I won't try to insult you for being a Negative Nellie a lot of times on this board, because you are a Positive Paula at times to.
Shift might have said something you didn't like about showing up, but this game was bad enough without fans arguing about FB and MBB HCs who they supported that others don't like in this thread.
The14 point loss is bad enough without anything else aded
