I never said Ugly did i? I'm a guy. I wouldn't publicly call out a woman's look much less a guy. I quoted her (my wife's profession) because I figured I'd try and pre-empt an overly sensitive response to a observation from a very sensitive professional. Try and relax and not look for hate in every comment made.
BTW..great closing effort by the women. They did what they needed to do. The aggressive attack on the offensive boards won the game. Their athleticism was the difference (and please don't read into that).
They will have to play better overall to advance farther but as we know they can get on a run.

Good finish. NB fell apart in the final minutes, our defense had some influence on that.
Copper played like Copper in the fourth, and we saw some good stuff from Parker. Rachel should not shoot the ball unless it's a layup. We passed up several open threes, then wound up attempting a late contested shot. We are settlers, we settle for the bad shot, it's what we do.
Anything can happen tomorrow, let's hope our offense gets hot and we control those tOSU shooters!

I do not like these WBNA rules. You should have to inbound the ball. Talk about not rewarding defense. Next year they will give them all an extra TO so they can do this. This is a COLLEGE basketball game...hate the gimmicks.
RU can play with OSU but can they slow them down...ever since last year they just bulldozed RU...going to need better offensive games from everyone tomorrow and the defense has to be on point. RU has the advantage of playing a game so they will not be flat.
agree...seems like a stupid rule..why? it automatically puts the other team in a very good situation compared to having to go the length of the court..seems silly
I don't like the gimmicks, either, but we took advantage of the same thing a play or two before that one by calling a TO.

I guess it balances the 10 second clock not resetting. Assuming the refs remember to count it...
That was a gutty comeback in the 4th quarter. Bad FT%, defensive lapses at times leaving the hot shooter open, clock management after that late offensive rebound.... but MONSTER team effort on the offensive glass, some very nice driving baskets, and tenacious defense in the final minute to overcome those. Very enjoyable to see the team come away with the win tonight.

In the end the important conclusion was WE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We win and move on. Ohio State will be very difficult. But on a neutral court, anything can happen. Let's go ladies. Beat OS and we are in the NCAA. A win against the Buckeyes will make up for the painful losses against Michigan State and Purdue.
So #10 seeds are "supposed" to beat #7 seeds. And holding a team averaging 73 to 10 points under that is not coaching? Hmmmmm. I smell an agenda.
I dont think he has agenda..ru was seeded 10th because ther underacheived...ru clearly was better talent wise than Nebby without Theriot..its a game they should have won and did but it shouldnt have come to a late scramble..this team is capable of more
we split the season with them by almost the exact score win or lose. First one to 65 wins...toss up game for sure. Probably more like an 8-9 match up..but none the less. Let's win tonight and advance. This feels like an NCAA play in game for sure. need it.
