RU vs. USF 2007 on youtube

Did not realize Jim Leavitt was back in college coaching. He worked under Harbaugh at the 49ers--two pricks made for each other. Now he is the defensive coordinator at Colorado. (@cubuffsdoug - what do you think of this?).
Leavitt struck a player and then tried to cover it up. In the linked story, they compare his incident to Mike Rice and others. Meanwhile, the kid he struck seems to be ostracized in Tampa as the kid who ruined USF football.

Coaches travel from school to school, so Leavitt being at CU is OK. I'm more shocked 4 star WR Winfree (Maryland transfer from Englewood, NJ) ended up at Colorado. I knew CU would take kids with questionable background, but they had to be studs. Being a stud is an easier sell to the school, media and public if something goes wrong.

The comments to that article are disturbing. I guess everyone on thebullspen.com checked in to point out how much of a pansy Miller is.

Tough fanbase, licking their wounds like Syracuse fans, but Syracuse likes to kick around Schiano as the culprit. USF was a team RU pretty much owned, and we took them down twice when they were ranked.

I guess I was getting at a coach who allegedly choked/hit a player and then tried to cover it up. Kind of strange in this day. Wonder if Mike Rice will get a second chance.

Well, he's at home at CU. He better watch his back because as quick as you can give it out, it will come back to you out there.[roll]
