Right, he wouldnt even need a waiver as hes set to graduate and actually has 2 years of eligibility remaining. Would be a nice pick upHoping Casser transfers here at 197.
Are you sure he is ready to graduate? Remember, he took a year off of wrestling AND school when he was injured. Just asking, not that I know this for a fact that he is not going to graduate. But getting a degree in 3 years can be challenging.Right, he wouldnt even need a waiver as hes set to graduate and actually has 2 years of eligibility remaining. Would be a nice pick up

:flushed::flushed:Suriano will be at either 125 or 133, depending on where he feels most comfortable, not based upon competition, AA will be at 149. Glasgow at 157. Correnti going down to 197 as he is still is only 220. Lightner will go to heavy.
Whoa. If Suriano goes 133, Aguilar goes 125?Suriano will be at either 125 or 133, depending on where he feels most comfortable, not based upon competition, AA will be at 149. Glasgow at 157. Correnti going down to 197 as he is still is only 220. Lightner will go to heavy.

So do we have a target in mind for Heavy? Gross graduated and we can't throw a TF Heavy out there. Need a JUCO or Grad Transfer at Heavy.Suriano will be at either 125 or 133, depending on where he feels most comfortable, not based upon competition, AA will be at 149. Glasgow at 157. Correnti going down to 197 as he is still is only 220. Lightner will go to heavy.
Lightner at heavyweight next year would be an utter disaster. The kid is not a heavyweight, he wrestled 197 lbs in high school not even 220. It'd be like leading a lamb to slaughter. RU would basically be conceding the Hwt. division once again. This is not a sound strategy anyway you slice it. Like @bigmatt718 said they need to come up with a Grad transfer or JUCO before they implement this disaster of a plan.Suriano will be at either 125 or 133, depending on where he feels most comfortable, not based upon competition, AA will be at 149. Normandia as well?He is training with us now. We still have Espo and D’Amore
Glasgow is definitely going to be at RU next year?
Is junior Sistrunk from Bound Brook a D1 prospect? He seems to have some potential. Also is JUCO Tyree Sutton still on our radar at 197? See he finished second at JUCO Nationals. Thanks to those in the know. $$$$Also the days of trying to grow an undersized guy into a Heavyweight need to end now. Go after 220 lb guys in HS.
Ah ok. I knew Goodale wasn't going to allow a gaping hole at Heavy to go unaddressed. That explains his recruiting trip to Colorado that he mentioned at one point. We are after Fernandez and the # 2 heavy junior from Colorado in Colton Schultz

Sutton has at least one more year to obtain his Associates degree. He took two years off from wrestling and school after high school. So he's not an option for next year. Good possibility for the year after that though, he has always held Rutgers in high regard and his family is here in NJ.(has a son)Is junior Sistrunk from Bound Brook a D1 prospect? I was at the Keystone Classic when Nick was still with us. Someone had talked to his Dad who told them Nick's body fat was less than 4%. If his body has grown at all, maintaining that weight cannot be fun.Suriano hardly cuts weight as is.. don't think we'll see him at 133. Maybe for his last year
Nick hints at the end that his body is growing, sounds to me like he might be going 133 next year.
He was 126 as a seniorWhat weight did he wrestle as a senior in HS?
