But he came here to troll and truth is, while the showing at the Illinois game was a little disappointing it was not remotely close to the pathetic showing by the NW fanbase at their HOME game at wrigley

Greg is a college coach for sure.
The "Father Gregory" stuff didn't fly in NFL.

But just as a curiosity, GS did work for Chicago as a defensive assistant and DB coach (96-98).
He does have that Bears "stain" from back in the day.
That's probably why his name would show-up after the firing
Wannstedt was HC when Greg was there.
GS hired Dave at Tampa - they are long-time football brahs

Ok so for clarity, he has the wrong skill set for a Head Coaching position in the NFL. As a position coach, sure, he's good with the secondary. Highly doubt he's on any NFL list, Bears or otherwise, due to his assistant position almost 30 years ago for a Head Coach who hasn't been a Coach in any capacity for a decade. Schiano is good where he's at and I believe he knows that, and the Bears don't have him on any List of potential candidates.

Basically I agree - but even Adam Gase got HC job.
Seems like a lot of HCs are just spackle filling cracks these days.
