Sure but this is what we wanted right, a tougher non-con. Princeton surely won't be as good as last year either i wouldn't have thought.
I hear your point though. Hopefully we have another pre-season charity "scrimmage" with a crowd at the RAC that's treated like an opening game by Pike.
Agree we need to boost our non conference schedule but this would option, considering the potential circumstances, would have been lowest on my list.

Yes. The game and site were agreed to about a month ago. To be played Nov 6. It
hasn’t been announced because there’s a chance it will move to a weekend game.
You have to remember we do have an advantage of the trip overseas and multiple games in August so I think we will be plenty ready for Princeton for the first game of the season. Princeton on a neutral isn't a bad game if it becomes an every year thing, they will always be a Q2 or Q3 which is better than most NEC, Patriot or America East teams. Ivy league always has 3-5 competitive teams every year in that conference.

We did have several fans who swore Pike would never play Princeton again.

Idk, opening game buzz against someone not named Central Connecticut State et al. Gonna be a pain to get to but I'm more excited for this than a generic game against some 300+ ranked team at the RAC.
It is also not at Jadwin. If we played at home this year we would have to go to Jadwin next time.
Trenton makes zero sense. I live out of state and have no skin in the game, but it’s just Incredibly dumb. Play at the RAC or Jadwin
It’s neutral. Maybe Mercer county made a competitive offer or someone is owed a favor . So yeah it makes sense

We already have an agreement with a P5 opponent but it depends upon securing a date and neutral site. Pru is option 1. Barclays option 2. UBS #3. MSG not in the discussion

We want to brag about becoming a top 25 team and recruiting studs and we're bitching to play 20 mins away on a neutral court. Funny how the older guys want this and the young nerds are scared.
