Devan Carter was switched from LB to RB to provide more depth. Isn't Linebacker the area we are missing the most depth or are some of our RB's hurt more serious than we know?

Funny, but when I read the story I was thinking Carter was a RB that they recently moved to LB.

Took me a second to untangle it in my head.

I don't think it's a big issue though. I haven't heard that any of the injuries to the RB's are serious. And with Goodwin looking good thus far that would give us 4 RB's(sorry People's, though he is also out) that need to be worked into the rotation.

Actually makes me think LB depth is a little better then I thought it was. Which is a good thing.

how big is Carter? I agree makes it seem as if LB is a deep position- we know that James, Martin, Hicks and Peoples were held out of the scrimmage. So maybe Carter will be able to fill a need if we get racked by injuries or maybe ne gets some time as a FB or blocking back on 4 wide sets.

Think it means he wasn't on the two deep at LB and they needed a body for last night.
