2. Anthony Russo – Rutgers commit
Russo looked like he was in total command from the first snap to the last during his 7on7 session. His first ball was a decisive rope to an outside curl route. He went on to march down to the goal-line methodically and then patiently got to his second read where he delivered a strike for a touchdown. Russo then came back with a new set of downs and had the patience to shake off a broken slugo only to find a backside seam for a touchdown.
Final numbers: 6-6, 2 TDs
Of note: I actually thought Russo was one of the more inconsistent quarterbacks on air on Saturday but when it mattered nobody looked more confident or in command on Sunday.
