Rutgers Athletics Launches "R Heroes" Initiative
PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Rutgers Athletics will launch the "R Heroes" ticket initiative for the Sept. 12 football game between Rutgers and Washington State, it was announced. The program, which is part of Military Appreciation Day at High Point Solutions Stadium, will provide Rutgers football fans an opportunity to donate tickets to active-duty and veteran members of the armed forces.
Fans can purchase additional tickets at a discounted rate of $35 and donate to the following groups; Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, U.S. Coast Guard Training Center, Rutgers Army ROTC, Rutgers Air Force ROTC and Rutgers Office of Veteran & Military Programs & Services.
Tickets for Military Appreciation Day can be purchased by clicking here. Donated tickets will not count towards priority points.
