I don’t understand what’s going on with Noah Fernandes??? The dude has zero impact when he’s been on the court this year….Mulcahy had issues for sure but he did SOMETHING while out there, good D, an assist, an occasional bucket….that has to improve.
He hit a 3. Had a very nice hesitation move and finish. Gavin needs the offense to run through him more. He has thrown away a couple passes trying to pass into the lane. A few deflections on defense and a nice block. Overall encouraging. His FTs looked automatic and effortless
Not saying Cliff as a senior shouldn’t be able to exert his will a bit more…but we’ve done a horrible job getting him the ball in any advantageous positions and BU is running two guys at him on the catch

Give Boston some credit but Rutgers is not protecting or valuing the basketball at all
He's not the only one. Oskar had a terrible one. Hyatt a mind boggling one. Year after year we are terrible at post entry passing for some reason but this game is wild
I am not watching this game, but in the Princeton game he looked slow and out of shape

Pike has to share the blame on those entry passes. BU is set up to defend it and the guys are forcing it in there. Pike must be instructing them to do it.
Also, serious question, but have our three small guards hit a single jump shot in these two games? I know Austin hit a three against Princeton, but I can’t remember the other three guys hitting a jumper.
Aside from that, this guard rotation has been a mess. They have made no impact at all. Fernandes and Simpson are invisible. JMIke has been quiet too after an energetic first game.

Maybe, he doesn’t do anything out there, doesn’t act like a floor general and run offense, doesn’t set up teammates, hasn’t been aggressive with his shot or driving to the hoop to shoot or kick out to a teammate…..he has been a total zero out there.
He can defend, rebound, catch and shoot, and is decent in the mid range. Hes the one player that can do multiple things well
Sold is the key word…..reality looks wildly different.
Williams has a God awful looking shot.

That’s Hyatt’s best approach, catch and shoot with no hesitation.
Was just going to say..Hyatt can be so good when he hustles and takes his shots in the flow without the forcing.
Pump faking an open 3 to take a step back 3 might be my most hated bball play
The offense being reliant on Hyatt cannot be pikes plan. Don’t feel comfortable with him being anything more than a 7th man.
