The game of basketball is so much more enjoyable to watch when the ball goes in the hoop, no?
They were sloppy and asleep the 1st half. Now they're playing hard like they should. They're moving and fighting for balls. Pike talked at half and they listened.

Thiam just needs to grow into his body. he will get better as his years go on
Cali, Sanders seems to have peaked under EJ, when he apparently had free rein. Didn't watch them much--it was too ugly. He went to the NBA draft preview after EJ, and seems to have been told that he had too many holes in his game. Doesn't make good decisions, not a great shooter or dribbler or passer. Probably going to lose minutes to Baker. It is unfortunate, but he hasn't made much (any?) progress since Freshman year, and that year may have been part illusion since we didn't have much else. Could he play overseas? Like in Outer Mongolia? Lots of guards, world wide, that want to play pro ball. Stay in school, graduate and maybe coach. Gee, our two Freshmen look like they will be fine players down the road.

Agree...We need 3 pointers from Dadika from the corner hitting the top of the backboard like he did last game.
There are a million leagues out there now. I'm certain he could play in some of them. Maybe not the top Spanish division but he can play somewhere.
And Mensah brings what, exactly, to the party?

They gave free game passes to the Grad Students for this game.. I'm right next door at the business school but classes run from 6:30 until 9:30. So close but so far away.

When's the last time we hit seven 3 pointers in a game? It's called progress. Looks like Pike is finally finding some outside shooters. In only year 2.
Fouling a player while in the act with a foul to give and less than 2 seconds in the half will do that . . . hope he’s enjoying his puppy chow.
