Why is there such fascination with playing games somwhere other than RU's home stadium?

Literally nobody cares that ND played the first game at new Yankee Stadium
(Did they even do this? I have no idea).

Actually there were quite a few people very upset about that. Syracuse and the ACC will probably do it and lay claims to New York's team.

That would actually be cool. Fun fact, while MSG was doing renovations, the NY LIberty of the WNBA played their home games on the stage at Radio City music hall

Fun fact about Radio City - it was designed to symbolize an ocean liner. In some bathrooms (ladies mostly) there are painted portholes with ocean views. The stage is syumbolic of a sunset - hence the rings. You have to take a tour to see the portholes
