Rutgers Football Camp/Clinic For Women

My 3rd year, highly recommend. All age groups get involved, good info, good fun, food, drinks....
Me plus 2 more

Very good thing to do.

Relatedly, the Shittsburgh Steelers (Raven fan here so it is hard to give credit) were one of the first teams to start marketing to women. It is why there are a lot of Steelers women fans out there.

My wife was one until I set her straight, and she had never even been to Pa.

Cali,
I can't remember where I read it,but there is a new indoor lacrosse league forming and they are supposed to have one in New Jersey.

There is a pretty robust indoor league that has been in existence for about 20 years. It is called the NLL and has been getting some decent traction. Maybe you heard NJ was getting a franchise in that league? I haven't heard of another start-up.

My wife is psyched to go to the Lady Knights football camp tonight! A sentence I never thought I'd say is this: I'll be home watching women's soccer while my wife is at football practice. Should be fun, and it's for a great charity.

My wife just text me : get home early, I have football practice tonight.
Does anyone go watch this thing? Maybe they can open the lounge up for the guys ??

men are not permitted into the stadium or any of the facilities during the camp. the Audi Club is actually part of the camp process tonight...meet the coach and some players, silent auction and a few other things (at least that's what it was last year)

I spoke to Julie at an event last year and told her my husband thought that RU should charge $100 for significant others to sit up in the Audi Club and watch. there were 250 women there last year. if only 100 significant others showed up that's $10,000 for charity.

What do I need to wear/bring?

if you are participating in the camp you need to wear sneakers and comfortable clothes. they actually put you through 10 different drills on the field with the coaches. Leave the pocketbook in the car. bring your camera or your smart phone with a camera.

The main charity is the Embrace Kids Foundation, which benefits kids with cancer, sickle cell and other blood disorders. The cost of the event is $35, and includes refreshments.
