Football Rutgers Football Season Opener Versus Ohio Moved To Thursday Night

All of which is fine. So don't go. Watch on TV. Or not.

Life's full of decisions. Ain't no crying over "Beach vacation or football game."
I'm the one who wanted us to volunteer for this every year when the B1G "demanded" Friday night games from everyone.
I get that. But when we are home on Labor Day weekend, it's pretty common that games get moved to Thursday or Friday nights. This is nothing new, yet the board always gets upset about it.
It's what we do. 🤷‍♂️

I don't mind it at all and would prefer night games for all early season games. As I said above.

Just like 8pm on a weeknight instead of 6 for those who do have to work the day of the game. Especially for Thursday night.

You're opting for UCF-Jax State? You lost me now Mr. Smooth.
Noles play Bama on Sat night (hope we can keep it close), so I had planned to miss Rutgers as it was and promised Pops we'd hit UCF
Figured that was a shorter drive from Orlando - Tally then Naples - Tally on Friday morning

If the date is changed after tickets have already been sold anyone who has already bought a ticket should be entitled to a refund if they request it.

Good luck with that.

Considering I think Rutgers Athletics is about to illegally auto-renew all basketball season tickets, I wouldn't hold your breath on them giving refunds because they moved one game up a couple of days.

I would imagine the Terms and Conditions give them the right to move gamedays and times.

I know they won't do it. But they should.

This change isn't being made due to weather or circumstances beyond anyone's control.

Should bring up last year's thread, so people don't have to post the same things over again, lol. As always, I love early season night games and love the Thursday night games before Labor Day, as does our crew.
I do too. Good excuse to take a 1/2 day! Go for a swim before packing up the car and heading to the game.
