These minor league promotions are to get fans into an event where the event itself isn’t enough reason to go. I think athletics has a feeling that there won’t need to be any extra enticing or seat filling in conference play this year hopefully to full the place up

Nope. But I know about the law there. Found out the hard way in 2009. I stopped in NJ for gas. A guy came out to pump my gas & I told him that "I'm a grown ass man & I could pump my own gas."

He explained the law. I thought he was a panhandler trying to get a few bucks from me in exchange for pumping my gas.
