Good chance for that, in my opinion. That was a good win, now go Indiana so we can win this thing at home.
Always the optimist.I wouldn't be so sure. Our RPI is only 51 right now, and if we beat OSU (#34 RPI), it could climb into the mid-40s, but not sure that's going to be enough with only 48 teams (23 autobids) making the tourney, and numerous autobids going to teams who are lower but win their conferences.
That is what we said about baseball as well.Luckily there’s a committee and not just RPI to select the teams. The #2 team in the Big Ten standings who also makes the B1G Championship game is not being left out of the NCAA. Would set a bad precedent. This is the Big Ten not the Big East
SickGreat win!!! We gutted it out.
Where was Brougey (sp?) He hurt?
During the broadcast they said he was out for today's game with a non-COVID illness. Hope he's back and can suit up on Sunday.Where was Brougey (sp?) He hurt?

How on God's Green Earth does it put "more pressure" on us? That's just silly. "Gotta be in it to win it!"Indiana wins? Great, we host the final! But now the pressure is higher IMO because a loss means another at-large bid disappears. Maryland is safely in anyway. Ohio State may be ahead of us, too. Would the B1G get four bids? Let's not leave this in the hands of the committee!
Easy. There are 48 spots in the NCAAs with only 25 at-large bids available and 23 AQ slots. Maryland just locked up one of those at-large bids, make it 22.How on God's Green Earth does it put "more pressure" on us? That's just silly. "Gotta be in it to win it!"
