Very nice win and the current coach seems to be a huge upgrade from her predecessor (my daughter was recruited by the prior staff but turned down D1's to go to a DIII academic as I've mentioned before), but this team will remain winless in the Big 10 until our recruiting ratchets up exponentially and that can only happen with a huge upgrade in our facilities which are now worse than many, many DIII programs. Hopefully this project will get on the radar soon as Hobbs is doing a great job on the fundraising front. Go RU.

Sadly, I have to agree. My daughter also played D3 tennis. I see that we are seriously over matched in the B1G despite getting the No. 1 player in NJ last year. This year's no. 1 is markedly better and she opted for Michigan - second time one of our best players went there in the past couple of years (Kate Fahey). I do also agree the coaching staff is better but the outdoor facilities are a joke. RU even paved over a section of the practice courts with parking for the Hale Center - so much for priorities.
