I rarely complain about announcers, but Fox, please people! Can we have some announcers that actually seem prepared? Maybe quiz them on the roster before the game?
Question #1: Can you pronounce Harsymiak?
Question #2: What number is Dymere Miler?
Question #3: What number is Ian Strong? (Hint- it is not the same number as Dymere Miller).
Question #4: Who is taller- Strong or Miller?
Question #4: Can you pronounce Ciarrocca?
80% is passing.
Question #6: Which syllable is accented in Dremel?
Q7 What team does Tyreem Powell play for?
Question 9: How many downs does each team get to advance the ball 10 yards?
They pronounced Kaliakmanis about 10 different ways on the broadcast too
Not a question, but a test:
Say this 10 times fast: "DC Harasymiak, QB Kaliakmanis, OC Ciarrocca."
The announcers were Chris Meyers on play by play and Spencer Tillman commenting. Those guys are very experienced, older announcers that have been around forever. It seemed like neither wanted to be there and weren’t very prepared. One of the worst announced games I’ve heard in a long time.

Still can’t get OC KC down consistently.
Maybe there is an inverse relationship between pronunciation and results?

I think you are right. Seemed in past years, games were on BTN mostly. It's nice we have more sophisticated announcers who can pronounce all of the difficult names on our roster and coaching staff.
I just wish they had done a post-game interview with coach Schiani.
Going to be the norm going forward. B1G absorbed some of Pac12 Fox/FS1 inventory and all 18 teams are required to have 2 BTN appearances with at least one being in conference play. Also helps that Rutgers is playing well, so there is more desire to put them in a more widely available spot.
One of the main reasons the RU-Michigan State game is not on BTN is because State Penn-Maryland must be.
State Penn has yet to have a conference game on BTN as is required. So by default their last regular season game had to be.

I think because we are now a reasonably good team. A step up from BTN. In theory.

Huh? RU plays MSU at 3:30 on FS1 (which at least for me is part of my TV package w/Optimum, so not streaming).
It's more because of the new TV deals. There are more partners in the channel lineup's.
He’s comparing home starts (all 3 games involved RU).
Complaints about streaming miss the mark as there is a Peacock exclusive almost every week and this week will be the only one for RU.
As mentioned recently in another thread, I would love to see some kind of limit on noon home games. But I’m not holding my breath.
Ideally each conference team would be guaranteed at least one home game in their preferred time slot.
I’m guessing a significant majority of fans aren’t happy with every home Saturday a noon start.
They are in a different boat as it appears the school doesn’t want or allow night games.
Guessing fans or noon too pleased.
Campus more spread out?
Highways/River between large portion of campus.
Higher percentage of people driving in game day morning?
Limited Entrances for tailgating crowd?
