Play calling is limited by qb play
This is an option offense right? He could have pitched to Harris on the last one and scored. Maybe you missed that. What idiot runs Laviano?!?
Cioffi better put his degree to good use or he'll be slicing meat for his family.
Horrendous end half decision s by coaching staff....horrendous
way too much hope that he would do itThis is an option offense right? He could have pitched to Harris on the last one and scored. Maybe you missed that.
That play called, you do not run it with Laviano. Do it with Gio, do it with Oden. This is an option offense right? He could have pitched to Harris on the last one and scored. Maybe you missed that.
I probably would have handed it off earlier though.
They do seem to be a step slow and out of position on most plays. For an unit that's undersized, speed shouldn't be an issue but it is.Our LB's are so ...inexperienced. Leave it at that.
to be fair to lavs, i think harris was out of position... he either should have blocked for CL or stayed back a bit to take a pitch... not sure what the design of the play was..This is an option offense right? He could have pitched to Harris on the last one and scored. Maybe you missed that.

Then don't give him the ball to run it on 4 straight plays?
The guy can hand off or throw a quick pass at/behind the line, yes?
but
way too much hope that he would do it
I am very happy that we are down by only 7. If we keep it up we can keep it close.
Harris was in the right trail position. Laviano should have pitched it, but the truth is Laviano should have never been put in a bad situation.to be fair to lavs, i think harris was out of position... he either should have blocked for CL or stayed back a bit to take a pitch... not sure what the design of the play was..
or maybe CL butchered it.
seriously?Wait, being up 3-0 is unacceptable to Ash, but being down 0-7 is good enough to just take a knee?
