Rutgers vs Ohio State Game Thread !

He got hit before the ball got there.

I despise those long screens, NOTHING good ever happens

That's because we typically throw them to Grant and the D is all over him every time. As we get better and more experienced with this O that can be a huge play.

Should have gotten into FG position, but can't fault the play calling. The trick play disaster hard to over come and yes Patton could have caught a nicely thrown ball

Would have been downright giddy (for a few minutes at least) if that trick play hit

Great call on the trick play, as stated earlier, bad execution. Separate the decision from the result. Rutgers is not going to beat Ohio straight up, they must play a David strategy.

Say what you will about Cioffi but the guy has a nose for the ball.

Disagree
You were on a roll with 3 first downs. Took yourself out of any hope for pts?

The OL really played well last week and is continuing with that this week, which is a big deal for us, given CL's limitations.

Offense did well enough first series to show that they can compete. Dare I say, Laviano looked pretty good that series and that pass to Patton was there. Defense got to hang in there long enough to make something happen. Hopefully Rutgers can take advantage of the INT. HUGE PLAY!!!

Rivals is acting up, it doesn't allow me to post. I had to install another browser just to post this:

It's the pressure. As soon as Schiano called blitzes, Laviano lost his cool. Oline has to figure out how to buy him more time.
