super tough break for Perrotti. no matter what happens next he is a phenomenal performer and team leader and it has been a privilege to watch him compete. hoping for the best.
what a great round last night though, injury notwithstanding. I had to pull myself away from btn2go during Bakuckas' dismantling of Sliga but I was stealing peaks at twitter throughout the night.
at the very worst, RU places top 8 in every weight, top 6 in 8 weights, and has their first ever B1G finalist. superb wrestling and I will be hoping everyone finishes strong today. 1 hour until the action restarts!

Pretty sure Ryan Taylor was a better seed by a few spots. Taylor beat him a few weeks ago too.
Giraldo was definitely an underdog. Taylor is a beast, been hampered by injuries this year.
Cooper's wrestling was the most boring I've ever seen. no offense. his ride on top had no chance of getting a turn. just ugly. but he earned the win with the rules in place.
