when you could point to any one of a dozen bunnies missed or other shots that just didn't go, the one that comes to my mind is the missed alley-oop by Shaq Doorson on the first possession.

In any case congratulations to the young man fo ran impressive (in many ways) journey to and through Rutgers University.

Tough night but this team is good and resilient.

He had two guys on him. That was a bad decision by Geo. It would've been an incredible play if Shaq had actually converted.

Not blaming him and I agree.
I think Geo was moved by the moment of Sr Day and gave up a shot that could have gotten him started on the right foot and put Shaq in a bad spot.

Geo needs to scratch the alley oop from his playbook. If your gonna do it, it should work at least 75% of the time, not 25% or less.

this isn't a pile on Shaq moment, but the missed dunk later in the game was a bigger 'miss'.

It wasn't easy, but Shaq needed to convert that. Even Pike made a motion that suggested he felt Shaq should have put it down.

I hate losing, but you know what, it's ok...Shaq is a warrior and a great kid...he'll be a great ambassador for RU wherever he ends up. I do wish we could have won the game for him last night. I bet that's why Geo was crying after the game.

During a tenure at college student athletes have memorable moments with highs and lows.Sadly, for the mens basketball program there have been far too many losing seasons and non participation in post season tournaments. As fans we thank the players for their hard hard work and wish them future success .At the same time the culture of losing must stop .Gut wrenching losses to Iowa and Penn State at home must stop in the future .All the players returning must show significant improvement in their offensive weaknesses.Scoring around 65 points a game simply isn't enough for sustained success.Winning 7 league games is truly amazing but that still leaves Rutgers no better than 10th in league rankings.
