There is no visible evidence of progress. The results are embarrassing. Eddie is showing his frustration by lashing out at the fans. Eddie was hired by an interim AD without much of a search. New AD Hobbs has an easy decision to make, right? A no brainer. Except...........
I've been a fan since the days of lining up at 4 PM outside the Barn for games in 1968. I've seen my share of RU talent transfer out. Dahntay Jones, Todd Billet, Mike Rosario, Greg Echinique, Eli Carter, Earl Johnson, Luis Flores, Gil Biruta, Corey Chandler. Who am I leaving out?
And you know what? Corey Sanders may be the best yet. I refuse to see him leave. I don't care if there's a better coach out there. There's not a better Point Guard. And college basketball starts with the Point Guard. This is the guy you can build a program around. And lord knows RU must begin to build around something.
Eddie may just know enough basketball to build around Sanders.
You know if Rutgers always makes the wrong decisions in basketball, and they always turn out bad, then doing the opposite must work.
KEEP EDDIE!
