Saturday will be another OPPORTUNITY

I just hope we don't get blown out. we don't need that right now. MSU has a lot of injuries and will be looking past RU so this is a good chance for RU to play a competitive game.

Lets try a pitch out on the first play just to let MSU know they need to defend the perimeter, instead of straight up the middle. It'll make the line backers and DE's respect contain....If we do that we'll win!:):D

Compete. Be tough, be creative, be energetic, be smart, be a little chippy, show you want it, put some sort of scare into them. All of that is within our control. If we do that and lose, so be it, but send a message we're not a walkover.

Open the playbook, use the home night game environment to our advantage.

If it's more bland, defeatist play-calling, that will be sad.

OP is right -- it's an opportunity.

Penalties elimination should be number 1 priority
We don't want to win the Lady Bing award...just kidding with you.
I understand what you're saying, but that would be way down the priority list of thinks that need to happen.

If we win the coin toss we should elect to kick off and do an onside kick. That will prove to me that we're in it to win it!

If we gain possession of the ball, the crowd will go apesh|t. If we don't recover it, it's no big deal. The MSU offense will start its initial drive near midfield, which is where it will most likely be in a couple plays anyway if we kick it deep.

We've already announced that, despite MSU's secondary issues, we're gonna "do what we do - run the ball," soooooo.....yeah, this ain't gonna happen, lol!

I just want to look like we belong out on the field against a good team.

Nuts, an onside kick has nothing to do with sticking to our running game. I just want to see RU take some well-calculated risks to stay competitive.
