Wow. Two weeks ago we landed under the storm in Newark. Bounced a bit and skidded. Not off the runway but enough to turn me white as a ghost. Those guys may be scarred!Apparently their plane had to abort due to high winds and skidded off the runway. Belien tweeted out that his guys are a little banged up but okay . Everybody okay. Wow ! What a way to start your tourney.
I was a freshman at Ohio University in 1970. We were supposed to play Marshall the next Saturday . It was a surreal feeling, hearing about the crash.I grew up in West Virginia----played in HS against 2 guys who were on that plane and I knew them well.
One of the worst days of my life.
I think their game should be changed to a later time on Thursday. The announcement should be made tonight .the game is at noon tomorrow...are they just flying in at 10AM....going to be real tough on them if that is the case
As the announcers said, the game doesn't matter now.the game is at noon tomorrow...are they just flying in at 10AM....going to be real tough on them if that is the case

Sometimes I can't help but feel a little anxious about all the air travel college teams have to unavoidably use to get to most games away from their campus. -Still remember the terrible tragedy that happened to the Marshall football team back in the day, so please God, keep all these young athletes safe in their travels.
...And very happy to hear that the Michigan team didn't have anyone seriously injured.
Well the announcers' son was on the plane, so to him, the game probably really doesn't matter.yes the game matters, everyone is alright, life goes on, they have to play, but yet no time change from the Big 10 offices yet
