Let's say he doesn't get the Miami job. Some rumors are that Richt is really interested. Even if he isn't, I'd imagine Butch Davis is the choice. So Schiano is left with few desirable options (maybe Virginia?) and then he comes back to us with interest. Would you want him if that's how it played out? If you knew he was only taking it because his other options didn't pan out? (Of course, this is assuming we even want Schiano.)
