Wow. Wagner really did beat UConn, 67-58.

UConn was ranked 18th in the country. .

And just the other day I heard some sports talking heads saying UConn is back!!! Yeah, well, maybe not so much.

So Uconn is the first good team in any sport that ever had a poor first game? I did not know that ;)

Kwe Parker might be sorry he went to Tennessee. He didn't score tonight and I'm not even sure if he even [played at all.

totally off topic, anyone see ivy league has a conference tourney...4 teams make it and play this yer at the palestra. the ivy league will be decent and the 4 teams that make the tournament will all be good.

columbia score reminded me

Shocked no one provided a junior etou update. In Tulsa

#293 Jacksonville State 84
Tulsa 73

Etou 29 min 20 pts 10 reb 6-9 fg 4-8 ft 4-6 from 3:uzi: 5 fouls

Wow, If you're a UCONN fan getting over the huge conference realignment letdown and coping with a dismal football team and fan turnout, you had to figure basketball would be the bright spot. If this keeps up, UCONN fans are going to be on suicide watch.

Good for him. WOW.....the rebounds don't surprise me, but, the scoring efficiency and shooting is a big surprise.

I don't believe in rehashing the past, but, why did he transfer ? He would be a veteran senior starter in Laurent's spot.

Etou was a player, and a personality that had tot be managed. I never felt he got the focus his play warranted.

I still remember him missing a shot, moping and jogging back on defense while the rest the team played four against five. I saw that far too many times, and I'm glad he is gone. One good game does not change that.

Etou's big game was a loss to Jacksonville State. I don't put much stock in that. All I remember is him getting follow up baskets or taking 3's. I don't recall him ever driving hard to the basket.

It doesnt, but i also remember him fighting for position, and never getting any looks. He also rebounded well.Jordan focused too much on Jack and Mack. Jack also jogged back. That whole team probably jogged back coming t think of it.

It is hard to say Etou was the only one. Jordan had very low levels of expectation.

Ehhh, it's UConn... they'll go .500 this year and then win the national title next year as a 10 seed.

You are really off base on this. Jack and Mack hustled rings around Junior. Only Junior moped when he should've been running because he was self-centered – – his problem was that the staff's expectations for him were too high in terms of work ethic.

Work ethic??Too much to ask from a D1 player???

Penn St. beat Grand Canyon 85-76, but they didn't look good at all. They are struggling with weak teams, so I can only imagine what's going to happen when they play the top teams in the B1G... blowout city.

At the buzzer in OT----tough loss for them. SC will be an NCAA team this year IMO.
