Talking him up . Hitting his ft's dosen't look that bad. Funny how his coaches name is Rice.

Glad someone cares about Jerome :cool2:[roll]

Dave Rice played for the Rebels under Tarkanian and was an assistant at UNLV for 11 years after his college career was over .
He left in 2004 but came back as their HC in 2011

Seagears is shooting under .400 (16-41) 6-24 (.250) from the 3 as a Rebel.
Don't think he's doing as good as you think , but getting the 2nd most minutes while being their 4th best scorer.
He seems to be playing better (so far) for UNLV than he did during his 3 years at Rutgers.
I'll give him credit for that.

Wonder if he's gonna get to see Van Macon, as well as his former teammate Greg Lewis, all of whom are in Vegas now if UNLV's game is at home.

I've always stopped caring about players when they transfer out, whether it's Jones or Billet or anybody else. But living in Las Vegas, it's kind of hard to not hear about Seagars, as Rebel basketball far dwarfs football for fan interest and media attention (for obvious reasons, although the gap narrowed a bit this year).

They love him. They trust him, as he gets most of the minutes. Had six assists against Indiana.

And yes, it drives me crazy.

This is his 5th year of college and is 2 years older than when he last played at RU. His numbers are still about the same. One game in Maui he only shot 3 of 11 so I don't see where he is doing outstanding. He had a decent career at RU his first 2 years but seemed to not buy in his third year even though Eddie let him return.
