For the third time his career, and his first time in a Rutgers singlet, Sebastian Rivera will stand on the national podium as an All-American.
Rivera, a graduate transfer from Northwestern, defeated Allan Hart 7 - 3 in today's quarterfinal round in the 141-lb bracket of the NCAA national tournament. Later this evening, Rivera will wrestle Penn State's Nick Lee, in what is a highly anticipated rematch from the Big Ten tournament just two weeks ago. The winner of tonight's battle between Rivera and Lee will go on to wrestle for the 141-lb national title Saturday night in the NCAA finals.
