SEC HYPE MACHINE - AUBURN #6

The first real test of the playoff committee is going to be whether they are going to leave out a two loss SEC champion if the champs of the other P5 conferences are either undefeated or have one loss.

It dossn't matter if they struggle with a FCS team. They'll beat ranked SEC teams therefore they must be ranked...

JState coach was too conservative after the fumble, fooling nobody with those three straight running plays. Auburn was at the ready with time outs, and that crappy punt was killer.

Hopefully they can pull it out in OT.

Probably. Jacksonvikk
If Auburn wins, do you think they will be ranked #1?
Probably. Jacksonville will magically transform into one of America's greatest college football teams. Or maybe Malzahn will complain about the distraction of NFL scouts like Saban did when Alabama got beat.

Toledo leading #18 Arkansas 16-10 4min left. Looks like another close call at the very least. That's actually the 1 team I'd wouldn't mind winning on account of SG.

What a joke...

If Auburn is #6 then we're #5...PSU #7

10 ranked SEC teams is an absolute joke! Missouri losing to freaking Arkansas State at the half, No. 6 Auburn going to OT v. Jacksonville St. and Arkansas loses to Toledo, all at home. Last year's bowl season exposed the SEC, but the pollsters go right back to buying into the ESPN hype and ranking everyone. Ridiculous!

Well there goes Tenn although to a ranked OU but in a game they were controlling most of the way through and at home. The rest of the SEC did what they're suppose to do when playing cupcake competition. The point isn't whether they're good or even the best. The point is they get way overhyped beyond reason and get way too much benefit of the doubt so when they falter everyone will jump on them.

They have a lot of quality teams and I think A&M may be back again with improved defense but again too much hype so of course other conference fans get sick of it.
