Secret Commits

Back in the Terrible Terry Shea years we would go weeks and weeks without any verbal commits during December/January. then someone would tell us that there were secret commits that just weren't announced yet. Eventually we found out there weren't any secret commits at all. At LOI day we were signing a bunch of guys that had no other offers except Stony Brook, and the like.

Fast forward to today. No news on the recruiting front, but it's the quiet/comatose/dead time. I believe phone calls can be made, if not then twitter and other contact but no visitation is allowed. I hate to think we are only losing commits and not gaining any. Sooooooooo, do you think we have any secret commits that just haven't been announced?

My parents said the same thing when there weren't any christmas presents under my tree but my friends had them. They were secret gifts that would appear on christmas eve.

But there is probably at least one more de commit you don't know about. My guess is Rene. He is taking visits.

Ash will get here sometime next month and scare up a few more 2 and 3 stars. The team will rally to a .500 record next year. But lose to the top teams in the division again.

People will call it a successful turnaround.

I'm trying to get people to move forward and stop trashing Flood and you respond by trashing Shea from over 15 years ago. LOL.

The whole game has changed since Shea was here. I think we all know he just did not know how to recruit in this area but was a very good QB / OC type of coach.
