If Flood is still here, I will NOT renew my season tickets which I've had for 8 years. I have no family connection to RU, and no past graduates that I know. I supported RU football because I liked the way they played, enjoyed their spirit and liked Gregg's community support. Now it is no longer fun to go; I am not even disappointed when they lose. It is tiring watching a group of talented but poorly-coached athletes exhibiting the body language they do. It is tiring watching fumbled snaps, poor pass defense (not looking for ball), missed tackles and the staffs' reluctance to make changes. My joy of watching Rutgers' football has fallen, and it can't get up. And with Flood at the lead, there is no potential for improvement. I love the RU team, it was a good run, but I cannot take it any more!

Same here.
17 year season ticket holder who donates every year.
I have already written Herman and advised if Flood remains I am cancelling; as are thousands more will do the same; next season.

We have a huge group of 16 of us that sit together. We've been going to games loyally for over 20 years straight.

We're making the same vow.

Simply put, we can't stomach watching this man ruin a program.

And the worst part of it is, Flood has had every opportunity to alter his ways and win back support... but in his unfathomable loyalty to his own ego - he spits back in our faces time after time. Enough is enough.

I'm with the Buffalo! Watching football is supposed to be fun. This season has just been painful.

Strength in Numbers, can we get a petition going and signed by season ticket holders saying they will not renew their tickets next year unless a change in Coaching is made, wonder how many would sign up. Can we get 5k or more? We can than send the petition to JH, Barchi, BOG, striving for mediocrity is not an option. Money talks and loss of revenue hopefully brings changes.

Likewise. How anyone can support our current leadership is beyond me. He is ruining our beloved program and sullying it's reputation immeasurably.

Of course, the last thing this University needs is more negative publicity. Let's wait till end of the season and see what if any decisions are made in terms of the Football Program. If it's business as usual, than a petition signed by season ticket holders not to renew unless changes are made will be fully warranted.

I have plenty of college football options that I have gone to during away games. Princeton, Lehigh, Penn, Annapolis to name a few that I have really enjoyed.

None have my heart and loyalty I have for Rutgers, as an alum and Letterwinner. However, it has always been a one way street. If Flood is here next season I maybe not as loyal and look at other options for my time and $. Sad, very sad.

I sold my OSU tix on stubhub and gave away my Nebraska tix for free to a Pen St alum I know since he once gave me a pair of Devils/Flyers tix on the house.

I still have the Maryland tix but I may just shred them if it looks like Flood will return.

You'd make a strong statement in mailing unused tickets back to the Athletic Department, rather than destroying them.

I am not an alum and have no particular ties to Rutgers other than being a season ticket holder for many years. It's the only game in town for D1 football in this area, and I love college ball.

Rising ticket costs almost forced me to abandon my seasons this year, but I figured out a way to make it work. Honestly? I didn't even want to go to the last two games, knowing full well that we would be pounded. It's painful when the opposing fans are louder than the home fans. And the paltry turnout by the students for Nebraska (who can blame them?) really shows the direction we're headed.

I won't spend the money next season if this is the product we're going to get. Flood had my support until he proved himself to be not only a bad coach, but a cheater off the field. I can get behind a mediocre team with a good APR and a clean off-field resume, but I can't support what we have today.

Proud NJ Sports Fan, I thought about the same thing but someone suggested mailing them back to RU as a symbolic symbol instead of ripping them up..... I mailing mine back.. I rather have my seats empty rather than RU not knowing that I refuse to go to the game.....

This situation reminds me so much of the late 90's when Terry Shea was destroying the program. I thought Rutgers should have fired Shea after the '99 season, but instead, they gave him a contract extension. I immediately stopped purchasing season tickets. They gave Shea one more season before firing him and bringing in Schiano. Hopefully this time there is no extension for HCKF.

I'll probably renew, but I'll sell every one of them on stubhub until they get a new coaching staff. Could use the priority points.

We're gonna miss you guys-take care!
I'm especially going to miss the pity party, soul baring posts like this one.
I'm glad you're so happy with crappy football and a HC who has no regard with running a clean program.
Thanks for chiming in Mrs. Flood
