With Knight and Hobbs both on board, I don't think we could have asked for a better staff. If Gary Waters had hired a staff like this when he first came here, he'd probably still be our coach

I can only assume I am the source 247sports is using for both the Knight and "Shoes" info. I am an unconfirmed and have been touting this exact move for a week. Too bad I don't own a horn.

Been confident for quite awhile on doing whatever was possible to assemble the best staff and find a way to maintain Shoes in some way. Glad to hear that come out now, holding onto this possibility for another few days would not have been fun.
I hope this puts to rest the thoughts that certain coaches don't have value here. And Knight is a flat out class act connection that gets it.

Pikiell is a real magician. We are now moving on up. We finally have some real recruiters on board. Those of us who have suffered as RU fans for so long might finally have some real hope. I have been a fan for 45 years and have kept my season tickets for ages. I hope that I can see RU make an NCAA before my time on earth is up. That would be nice.
amazing how quick we went from total despair to this amazing staff. Hobbs needs a raise already. Can we get a billionaire to donate some money now? Lol
Great news as others have posted our recruiting will hopefully start to take off with this very capable staff. Seemingly no downside to any of Pikiells moves so far.
