I begged my wife ... No more F'n London Broil ! My gums ache for days. Give me Flank or Skirt steak any day.
Don't forget some subs from Subway. Although they should probably looked picked over and several years old at this point.Somebody should do a board-themed tailgate this year. London Broil. Pork Roll (not Taylor Ham). Etc.
Thank you George ConstanzaI try not to freeze my meat. It always shrinks.
After having this thread about 10 times over the years, I am going to listen to some posters who gave tips on how to marinate, cook, and slice this horse meat to be more tender.
I am going to give it a try, but I swear to god, if these tips produce rubber, I am coming after you, and you know who you are!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
If NFL footballs were made from Shop Rite London Broil there would never have been a "deflate gate"
impossible to tenderize that leather :chairshot:
I marinated one with balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, lemon juice, and Italian herbs. It was out of this world.am all in - suggest marinate with balsamic vinegar.
Impossible if you're not very good at basic preparation and cooking techniques. Or have no teeth.
So you had brittle old guy teeth and they cracked when you ate juicy red meat? Probably should have gotten them replaced earlier so you didn't have to deal with that at the dinner table. Hope it was at your own home, at least.
Calm down, boss, a bit of back and forth, nothing personal about it.
Incidentally, I didn't really think that you lost your teeth when eating London broil. See, we weren't being that serious.
ok..LOL. I've had a serious chip on my shoulder of late. Must be my early season anxiety cropping up. :eyes:
please back to the topic at hand...I grilled two delicious puppies last night and will post pics later. Makes for great sandwiches with horseradish sauce the next day
I think you guys are cooking lobro too long. 20 minutes tops for me. And take it off even sooner because it still cooks until its cut.
This is correct, 20 minutes in the microwave on high is all you need.
Lobro should ONLY be grilled.
