Haha, on occasion, I've even been told I have a chip on my shoulder. Okay, maybe regularly. Daily?

another tip is to toss it into a toaster and put it on high. keep pulling the lever down when it pops up and that will give your great grill marks.

You're killing me - thanks for the early morning laugh!

London Broil in these parts (at least from Shop Rite) is generally the Round section of the cattle. Think back leg upper thigh area. For the laymen - this is basically Roast Beef territory. I don't look down on it like some here because we did not have much $$$ growing up and it was a relatively inexpensive way for my parents to get the family a beef dinner as opposed to other cuts that were 5x the cost per pound or more.

It does not have to be "tough" if prepped right. I generally marinate it in either a soy based marinade (such as Mr. Yoshida) or a blend including Balsamic/Dijjon and sometimes embed Garlic cloves into the meat. I find it most tender if it is grilled to Rare/Medium Rare and cross cut on a bevel with 1/16 to 1/8 inch slices. We like it best serves warm over a salad, on a roll with horseradish or melted bleu cheese, or on toast points.
