Should Laruent Start

Move Williams to 6th man?

We've got to get production ....and Williams shot has been MIA (0 points today).

I would move Omari to the 2 and put Laurent at the 3...then when DJ or reg pick up their inevitable could he can slide over. I'd start Bishop over Mike now too.

Don't think it's really important who starts as long as the Laurent gets his minutes. Laurent is really cycling in for Lewis and Foreman. If we had at least one more healthy body above 6-4 that could spell the big guys, starting Laurent would be the right move.

Daniels is more suited to the 6th man role but despite some of Bishop's killer plays down the stretch he should continue to take minutes from Williams. Daniels is catching the heat for his late miscues but Williams was brutal today so Daniels needed to take his minutes. Whether Daniels needed to be dominating the possession in the waning moments is another topic.

At least Williams plays Defense. That "Frankenstein" posing as a center needs to have a seat at the end of the bench. What a waste of a big body that guy is....!

THAT Frankenstein had 13 points and nine rebounds today.

Laurent cannot start - he is the only reserve Center and PF. Which is pretty scary.

Williams had a really bad game against Indiana, and was not great against UMass-Lowell. But he has been very good in a number of other games. Against Indiana, Daniels took a fair number of Williams' minutes ... and cost RU a chance to win, in my opinion. If Williams had played better, Daniels would not have been in down the stretch to botch several plays when RU was down 6 with the ball.

RU was competitive with ZERO from Williams, and the usual bone-headed plays by Daniels, and nothing from an over-matched Goode ... think about that. Grier, Sanders and Lewis carried RU. With ANY reasonable positive production from Williams, RU probably wins.

And playing on two achy knees according to Jerry Carino. I've been frustrated with Lewis's production in the early season but the guy is very important and hoping that he can hold up and hold his own. I think he's more comfortable playing against bigger guys than against the undersized non-power conference type interior guys we generally play in the pre-conference schedule. He was underappreciated last year and I hope he has a few moments in the sun before his career ends.

I agree. I've thought the same.

Greg Lewis had his best games against BIG 10 play last year. Let's hope history repeats itself.

How many missed rebounds, turnovers, and horrible passes did he have? And, more importantly, why doesn't he have similar stats(if not better) EVERY game. You can't just pick and choose.
Not sure they keep a stat for missed rebounds and horrible passes, but they do keep track of turnovers and he had ZERO.

Cannot start Laurent as we have only 3 players over 6'4" (Lewis, Foreman and Laurent). Someone with a little bit of size needs to come off the bench.

Team played super hard yesterday. Cannot ask for much more right now. Grier playing out of his mind. Not sure how long that can last but I'll enjoy it while it's happening. Corey also has been very good. Laurent is getting better and better. Lewis giving solid minutes.

Just so hard to play in this league with eight guys and only 3 front court players.
