SIAP: At least the updated Uniforms were good!

I'm fortunate enough to have the PAC12 network in my area of the Dallas metroplex and I watched the entire game on Saturday. While the outcome of the game wasn't great the new improved, updated uniforms did look good!

The numbers were very legible and I've always liked the white helmets for away games.

The new Rutgers uniforms must be selling very well--as of right now,rutgersshop.com only has small left and the Rutgers Bookstore website says they are out (maybe they still have some in the store). Scarlet Fever still has jerseys available.

Someone at the Olive Branch was wearing a red one and it looked great. While I did like the road whites of the last version, it is nice not straining to read the numbers.

Missed the chrome domes and hate all white, but that's just me. Happy to be able to read the players numbers.

Haha.. I found it interesting that as soon as the ball was kicked off, all talk of uniforms stopped.. until now.

So obsessed with uniforms or not, I think this fan base knows what's important.

Back when I was considering colleges, the coolest thing I saw in a college bookstore was at Michigan State. The store offered virtually every possible uniform number for replica football jerseys....all right there on a huge rack. I've never seen that before or since, even online. Now that Nike does these custom looks, it's probably impossible to do anyway.
