If instagram is any indication all the end of year posts by the young guys + Geo + Gene gives 0 indication of turnover.... maybe Kiss? I doubt it though he was getting a good amount of burn at the end of year and contributing decently.

So why didn't he play a lot on Texas before they were hit with injuries?

He played 16+ mpg as a freshman and sophomore at Texas. With a year to work on his game here I don't think 20mpg next season is that big a stretch.
