Only foul shots put a single player squarely in the spotlight. Unlike any other shot, there is a significant pause in the action as the play is literally set up. Players from both teams placing themselves on opposite sides for the possible rebound as the ref holds the ball. The "star" of this little play being counseled by his team and the eyes of his team's fans boring into him while the opposing team's fans are screaming for his destruction. Kind of like the Christians waiting for the lions to be let loose. It takes a player with total concentration to block all this out and just make what should be a damn easy shot for any decent player. Some can do it like Simpson and others just feel their internal organs seize up.

Wolf finally started hitting some. A Will probably will as well. J Mike has to be freshman nerves
