St. Louis didn't get tangled and beat the 1-3-1

It was much stickier against us..and that's before we started painting our masterpiece.

I just read the Onthebanksblog and they said it was 56-34 when MD went to the 1-3-1 and went on a 21-1 run to go up 77-35

I meant to watch the 2nd half but by mistake hit live instead of DVR. Did they really go 1-3-1 against us?

I stopped watching and was just listening to the tv...Onthebanks blog said they went 1-3-1 when RU was hanging in at 56-34

Every team is going to play us 1-3-1. Teams at this level actually scout. Foreman does his patented spin move right in to the chest of a Maryland defender for his 3rd foul. A few possessions before Foreman penetrates and the defense collapses to the middle and leaves Goode wide open. Goode never sees the ball.

Maryland occasionally plays a few possessions of the 1-3-1 in the 2nd half to try and mix it up. They have been trying to find a secondary defense and the 1-3-1 has not been good when they've gone to it, so I assume it was to get some practice in.
They have had some success with their 1-3-1
