Nervous Lou taking high heat and justifiably so. But he’s far from a solo act. There are so many asshats on this board who should be totally embarrassed by the venom they spew, but they aren’t. They come prepared with their built-in justifications... “We just get emotional, we care so much, free speech, it‘s what message boards do, you should see other message boards, players should be able take criticism, it’s been 30 years, woe is us, it‘s our birthright to go to the dance, we write checks, WAAH, WAAH, WAAH.”

It‘s not all posters, it’s some. But the some is a lot. Let the justifications fly, but there’s no excuse for the type of overt mean-spiritedness seen on this board. Most of us are adults, most of us are parents, some of us are grandparents. If I made those type of comments to or about ANYONE, my Dad would rise from the dead and provide a deserved lecture about the Golden Rule.

for the 90% of you criticizing the OP, think about how you will feel on Selection Sunday if we lose to the worst team in the BIG, then lose to a team that is losing 5 in a row and then get bounced in the tournament. Not saying that is the expected outcome but if it were to happen, more than half of the people who called the OP an imbicile will be posting that we either done belong or no way we are going to make it.

Could his timing have been a little better, sure, but lets beat Nebraska (who happens to be playing much better) and make this thread a moot point
