Super Bowl 50. Who's seen them all?

First one i have any recollection of at all was SB IX (?) Steelers/Vikings, purple people eaters vs the Steel Curtain. First one I remember vividly was the following year. I think, Vikings/Raiders. Have no memory of I thru VIII

I remember there was a time I thought Bart Starr was the best QB ever and Jerry Kramer's book was the first sports book I ever read.

Yes, I will admit I've seen them all, was that girl who loved football and halftime shows.

Last 15 years more into college overall except when the Giants are in

First sports book I read also, I think it was called "instant replay"

Those first two made me a lifelong Packer fan. Bart was an early hero. Shame to see him today pre-game - wish he could have been there. And yes he was a great QB - efficient, confident, and in control. A great head coach? Well... But he is still a great guy.

Seen 43 I believe Super Bowl 7
Dallas vs Maimi, was my first I was 7

Seen them all.
From Super Bowl #1....with the classic "The Hammer just got nailed."
And I got to see the losing qb in #50 take the defeat with far less class than any of the other 49.
And also see my Giants win FOUR of them.

Every one, in fact my wife was just starting to go into labor with my youngest son during the second half of the Giants Super Bowl in 1986. She was a real trooper, said she had time, watched the whole game, and got to Riverview Hospital just in time. By the time I parked the car got up to the delivery room, he was being born. Almost missed it.

Seen them all, 3 live. Last night's game was one of the worst non blow out games ever played.

Those of us who remember the game of 50 years ago…just think.
We are now replacing those old people when we were kids talking about Babe Ruth, Knute Rockne and Red Grange.
Amazingly, Jim Brown to teenagers today equals Jim Thorpe to us when we were kids.
However, the footage of Namath, Starr etc…might make the stars of our youth seem a bit more real to these kids

Your observation
is very similar to one that a friend of mine and I agreed upon. Many years ago when he and I were just kids in our early 60's we talked about the older people in our former Newark neighborhood(Belmont&Avon) and said that now we are those people.

It was a great DEFENSIVE game.Too many of us accept the D as just part of the game and want to see scoring plays and long gainers from the O skill people. Those on D ply their Craft with great skill and ferocity. Last night was a Prime example of a Great DC ,calling a Great Game and his Players executing it with the BEST that they had. And that was a lot.Ask Cam.:sunglasses:
