Super Bowl 50. Who's seen them all?

It was a great DEFENSIVE game.Too many of us accept the D as just part of the game and want to see scoring plays and long gainers from the O skill people. Those on D ply their Craft with great skill and ferocity. Last night was a Prime example of a Great DC ,calling a Great Game and his Players executing it with the BEST that they had. And that was a lot.Ask Cam.:sunglasses:
I love defense. I hate what the NFL has become with the pinball scores but that was not a great game by any stretch

Seen them all. Worst one for me was Jets - Colts. As a huge Johnny U fan it broke my heart to see them lose.
I like you have seen them all but I was on the other side of the fence I wanted Jets to win to prove the AFC was as good as the NFC and for Sonny Werblin

Anyone watch it with guys who are into soccer...not American football ?
One of them asked me to tell him again about the lack of scoring in soccer.
BTW, you should check out the size of the D-lines back in the first few Super Bowls in relation to the size of Cam Newton. It's a different game today.

Was a senior preceptor in Mettler for the third one between the Jets and Colts (also the first one to be called the "Super Bowl".) Took the Jets and their 17 points. Haven't bet on sports since.

Started watching pro football in 1955. One game a week, the NY Giants. If I remember correctly there were exactly 2 players in the league who weighed more than 300 pounds - Big Daddy Lipscomb and one of the Giants Roosevelts. Tommy McDonald, an Eagles wide receiver, did not use a face mask. Most of the quarterbacks had a single bar.

Players today are much bigger, faster, stronger, skilled, braggadocious and richer. I don't think they are tougher, however, nor smarter.

Seen them all.

I did go out and play touch football with my friends for most of the second half of Super Bowl 1.

The old saw "defense wins championships". Also saw all 50 on tv. Only drunk 5 times.

From Bart Starr to Cam and Peyton
Yes. I was a young single digit boy, but I watched the first AFL/NFL championship game on two channels that year. And I have watched them all ever since. :D

Any of you guys hear the story of one guy who's father taped Super Bowl 1. It's the only one in existance. He wants 1 million for it. None of the 3 major networks recorded super bowl 1. But the NFL is not willing to pay him the 1 million. I think its ridicolus the NFL is not willing to pony up 1 mil.

Seen them all including SB IV which I watched on AFTV from FSB Nui Dat in Vietnam in January 1970. Was privileged to attend the Giant wins over Elway and Denver in the Rose Bowl and over Buffalo in Tampa ( wide right).

First one i have any recollection of at all was SB IX (?) Steelers/Vikings, purple people eaters vs the Steel Curtain. First one I remember vividly was the following year. I think, Vikings/Raiders. Have no memory of I thru VIII

Same here IIRC. Obviously watched the earlier ones but no doubt remember those 1st 2 Steelers SB wins.

BTW - can't believe I never thought about this but is "Moose" short for "Bull Moose"?

The tape of Superbowl 1 is overpriced. If you had a tape of the game, you'd never again need a sleep aid.Scott,Gifford, and Whitaker must have been hanging out with Max McGee.Curt Gowdy and Paul Christman were much more animated as the insurgents.
