This reminded me of a first round NCAA tourney game, where the better seed barely escapes with a win and then advances at least 2 or 3 more rounds. Let’s hope this scare has us sharp and hungry against Purdue on Tuesday night.
And you know every other team wants to stop our undefeated home run - it's not just a win, but it would be a huge win against a team that's very good at home, which helps anyone's resume.Exactly, We are the hunted now....especially at home !
Agreed. I remember he entered the Big Ten Tourney his freshman year in a prolonged slump, then hit some big shots in the Indiana game and exploded the following night against PurdueIf you didn’t realize Geo’s endgame threes was his prophetic “come back” like a movie script then idk what to tell you .. the brace off, the struggle all game, missed FTs even, and then the heroics in the end it’s like Ito’s FG in this our b-ball version of the 2006 season .. it doesn’t need to be “said” but yea Geo is back after that
We should be favored in both of those games. It's time for a statement game against Purdue. We haven't beaten them since joining the B1G and they have had some beat downs. Rutgers takes their revenge this time.I hope that clutch 3 means that Geo is healed and his shooting game is back. Purdue on Tuesday and Michigan on Saturday are some big, winnable games that are key for our resume.
