Terrible RU security policy leaving the game

they will be getting an earful from me a 25 year season ticket holder on Monday. Whatever ahole came up with this policy should be chained and sent to the bowels of the RAC

They had three old blue vested employees preventing all people from being able to walk the front corridor of the RAC and instead were forcing people out the one entrence. Great I get why they say they are doing it because everyone wants to mill about the one area and go out the one exit to the parking lot...whatever...THEY NEVER ONCE HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE in other sellouts.

I wanted to get to the handicapped section where my mother sits so I could over to her and my brother who had a package to give me. These rude RU employees would not allow me to go that direction and formed a wall to not let me pass even when I explained what I had to do. So I had to go outside, go all the way around, wait for a door to open on the other side to get back in and go the handicapped section.

SCREW YOU RUTGERS...HOW IS THIS FAN FRIENDLY. I HAVE NOT SEEN BEHAVIOR LIKE THIS IN 25 YEARS and I have seen alot of sellouts and people milling. What kind of organization makes you go outside to try to come back in..what if I went the bathroom and my stuff was there. This was like a minute after the game ended not ten minutes.

Its just another thing that RU does..whether it be measuring peoples bags, confiscating protein bars or apples that REEKS of FAN UNFRIENDLINESS.

They told me I couldn't go thru but I just told him I had to meet someone on the other side and let me thru. Wasn't meeting anyone of course but hey it worked

In section 113 the security guard told me and another RU fan to quiet down when we got to the ref - the ref engaged us (unprofessional) - no cursing - we told them they “stink” - that’s it ... told the guard to get his manager we’d to speak w him/her... ridiculous

Meanwhile - a young Iowa fan gets in the face of a major RU athletic donor literally right in front of the same guard - that happens in any other college arena and the Iowa kid is out in a heart beat - only at RU is the donor not respected

Yeah, the guy stopped me. Eff that. And then I went to the right of him and kept going. What was he going to do, break his human chain, chase me down and arrest me? Stupid and pointless. Two home games left in the season and 4th sellout and they come up with another dumb rule after the RAC being open for 41 years.

I am also noticing since they switched security from the yellow jackets two years ago, that they do a terrible job at letting people stand near the glass and block views during the game, it as if they are not trained or completely oblivious to what is going on around them...the old yellow jackets were much better at keeping that glass area moving.

Plus for some unknown senseless reason they decided to move the entrance to the green lot from the front of the lot to the rear, screwing up people trying to turn into the usual entry point.

There's no rhyme or reason, game to game or even by the minute on gameday what the rules or traffic patterns are. All I know is that I got to the RAC over an hour before gametime and it seemed like there were not that many open spots left. Meanwhile they've blocked off about half of the lot for whatever the "VIP" lot is which used to my Green Lot area of choice for easy exit after the game. That VIP area always seems mostly empty while the Green Lot had no spots for the Michigan game on a school night. No attention to detail when it comes to gameday experience for basketball, which has been the rule forever, of course. Not that I want to park in a deck, but I hope that deck at the new practice facility is utilized for gameday parking and then straighten out the budding mess of the green lot.

They probably won’t answer the phone. Everything about the RAC and the ticket office is small-time.

Ru outsourced security. Most of the staff is still the same, the the administration is different. The administration has no clue. How about something as simple as wearing SCARLET sweater vests instead of blue. I think we will all still recognize them as “security”.
