After only 22 months on the job. He brought in Charlie Strong to coach football. Not a good sign for him I'd guess.

There are guys that have their names on buildings that didn't want the AD or HC in Austin.

He was too much of a business man and not a people person which pissed off the boosters, which you don't do if they are dumping 100's of millions into the AD. You want to do whatever it takes to keep them happy and the money flowing.

I don't know about the other coaches but kind of surprised on Strong considering Patterson hired him to the chagrin of some boosters. You would think they were in the foxhole together.

I think Charlie Strong is a good coach and needs some more time. I think any coach needs 4 years for a fair assessment. Strong weeded out the dilenquints. Now he just needs to find the next Bridgewater.

It wasn't just the big boosters that he alienated. Everyone hated that guy. Strong isn't feeling too comfortable.

If Texas hires Jurich (The AD from Louisville) Rutgers could be looking for a new AD soon after. Trust and believe Louisville will go after Julie if their seats empty. She can make more money in NJ in the long run, but won't have to deal with The Star Liar in Kentucky BTW

Louisville and Texas are completely different jobs. I don't see a fit. Jurich did hire Kragthorpe, makes me question his football knowledge.
