The 1st year is always the worst in terms of record

Graber went 3-8 his 1st year. Then 6-5 and 7-4
Schiano went 2-9 then 1-11. Then 5-7, 4-7, 7-5 then 11-2

Point is new coaches have to recruit well and the players need to learn the system until it is instinctive. The result of today's OSU game is not a surprise but we always have hope that we get an upset win.

I think what #1 is trying to say is that a lot of fans are tired of what seems like to the 4th year of a never-ending rebuilding project.

I definitely apologize to all of the the folks who, a couple of years ago, said that Flood's poor recruiting would hurt us over the next few years. Because, evidently, they were right.

Please look at their schedule before you post stupid facts. Playing Sister Mary's school of the blind for the 1st three weeks and then following it up after the bye week with Father John's school for the disabled. Is not really an accurate barometer to judge a coach. Let's see where they're at, at the end of the year.

Agree... we all know Flood's recruiting set the program back badly . We knew it would be difficult ,,, but seeing 1st year Coaches at Maryland and Memphis going undefeated this year so far and RU being humiliated again makes it that more difficult. { And Maryland is up 29-0 against a 2-1 Purdue team at the Half}

Like I said Father John's school for the disabled. Purdue hasn't been good or had a winning regular season since Joe Tiller left in 2008. A little research would help before you post.
